Billing & Insurance
Eat Play Speak operates as an out-of-network provider for various insurances and provides concierge superbills* upon request to facilitate insurance reimbursement. Your insurance company may require that you meet an out-of-network deductible prior to co-insurance benefits becoming active. We can provide you with a list of questions to ask your insurance company that will help guide you through this process. We understand how confusing dealing with insurance companies can be!
Eat Play Speak is now in-network with Medicaid, Amerigroup, CareSource, and Anthem BCBS. Please have your health care provider fax us (912) 372-9334 a referral to begin!
*All clients requesting superbills will be asked to provide a physician's referral before receiving speech services for possible insurance reimbursement. If a client is self-pay only then a physician's referral is not required.

Please have your pediatrician or health care provider fax referrals to (912) 372-9334. Once the referral is received, Kaylan or Brittany will be in touch regarding the next steps.

We do require an evaluation at the start of services for all clients. Eat Play Speak will accept an evaluation from another clinic if completed within the last 6 months.

We request that our clients have an 80% attendance rate. We ask to be notified of any cancellations at least 24 hours in advance if possible. We will do our best to reschedule missed therapy sessions. After 2 no call no shows, client will be discharged from therapy services.

We ask for our clients that are requesting superbills to have a physician's referral prior to starting therapy services. This can be emailed or brought in by the parent/caregiver on the day of evaluation. Self-pay only clients do not have to have a referral.

Payment will be collected on day services are provided. Eat Play Speak requests for a credit card to be placed on file, and we will only charge this card on days services are rendered.

We encourage our client's loved ones to participate in all of our therapy sessions.

Yes, Eat Play Speak is a private speech therapy company that is not affiliated with school services. However, if requested and a release of information/authorization is signed, the therapist can collaborate with the school's SLP.

Frequency and duration vary depending upon the client's needs. Typically speaking, speech and language sessions are 30 to 45 minutes 1-2 times a week. Feeding therapy sessions are typically 30-45 minutes and vary from 1-2 sessions per week to one session per month.

Services will be provided within the client's home or in the community (e.g., park, library). We can provide services within daycare centers and schools as long as parents and therapist receive approval.
